There’s no cookie-cutter digital marketing technique, strategy or tools. A few years ago, a digital marketing agency could claim that digital marketing services consisted of managing a brand’s social media, doing some SEO and possibly advertising across networks to get their pages more “followers” or “likes”, hopefully without having to buy fake ones. It could also include online marketing services such as advertising on Google Search or Display to generate brand awareness or possibly drive traffic to their client’s website.

Digital marketing services lack any single definition.
